It took 18 years, but Metallica finally got around to playing “The Unforgiven II.” The band performed the cut from 1997’s Reload during a set at Rock im Revier in Gelsenkirchen, Germany over the weekend.

Technically the song got a live debut during the televised Billboard Music Awards back in December 1997, but this is the first time “The Unforgiven II” was dusted off for a concert audience. As if you needed another reason to go see Metallica live, right?
